The purpose of Children's School Success Plus (+) project is to modify an integrated, evidence-based curriculum (CSS) which improved outcomes for preschool children at risk for school failure in the areas of math, social skills, and letter knowledge. Because there were no remarkable differences beyond expected developmental gains for children with disabilities, we are enhancing CSS to incorporate 1) elements of universal design for learning, 2) instructional individualization, and 3) ongoing progress monitoring in all activities. Consistent use of the CSS+ curriculum is hypothesized to increase learning outcomes for young children with disabilities within a variety of inclusive settings.
